A principal contractor for London plant, not a subcontract chain

London mechanical work rarely happens in an empty building. Plant comes out of basements and off roofs over live streets, isolations happen at night, listed fabric has to be worked around and the tenants upstairs keep trading. That needs one contractor who owns the programme: the construction phase plan, the crane lift, the builders work, the shutdown windows and the recommissioning. Rossair takes that role and keeps it after handover - three full-time Rossair engineers are based at The Hospital Club in Covent Garden, and Rossair has maintained Bauer Media UK’s building since 2015.
