The work
Rossair was commissioned to design, build and concept-develop HVAC, domestic services and public health areas (toilet cores, bars and kitchen) for a new five-screen Curzon Cinema in Oxford - the first cinema of the London-based chain in a shopping centre location.
The facility features five screens with luxury seating and a 6,000 sq ft reception area with two bars, a pizzeria and a members’ lounge. Specific deliverables included sanitaryware installation, BREEAM refrigerant and water leak detection systems, kitchen extraction, thermal insulation, commissioning, chlorination, plant supports with movement provisions and comprehensive record documentation.
