Rossair started in Alton in 1973 and the head office is now at Basing View in Basingstoke, so Hampshire is home ground. The mechanical work spans the estates the county runs on - science and business parks, colleges and schools, NHS and care buildings, offices and industrial units - and much of it is plant: boiler houses reaching the end of their life, chillers on refrigerants that can no longer be serviced, and gas plant being replaced with heat pumps.
