The work
Shoppers had complained about excessively cold temperatures in the food hall aisles. Between August and October 2014 Rossair installed new ceiling-mounted air handling units, with ducting to the cold aisles and heat delivery to the fridge unit bases.
An LTHW (Low Temperature Hot Water) system with a dedicated boiler was installed to support the new air handling units. Weekly client updates ran throughout the two-month project, with staff training on the new equipment delivered on completion and O&M manuals plus as-installed drawings handed over to the M&S team.
